G’day Track Crew, Happy Tuesday!!
Things are rolling along nicely for Thunderdome 2016.
A small but hardworking crew turned out for our working bee on Sunday and we achieved a heck of a lot! The bastard Track Scrape Off Old Surface, heaps more mowing, bikes washed and serviced(onya Trev, Ron and Shane), sticks and crap cleaned up from Cyclone Bathurst. We even treated the 1st and 2nd straight with a bit of a water and roll! The 4th straight was weeded and mulched ( Stevo, Trav, Mick and The Kids). The Knox BMX Botanic gardens got some love ( Gemma!) Bec and Stephanie did a cracking job cleaning the toilets and lining the bins.
Finished off with a BBQ and Moto GP. Well Done to all, the place is looking a million bucks!
Special thanks to Troy Tormay for giving the old Ride-on mower a birthday – she’s choofin’ like a trooper!
OK – now for the glory work.

This FRIDAY night 6pm-8pm is resurface time.
We will hit the 3rd and 4th straights for their usual Thunderdome clothes. As we know, most of the work is in the rolling so the heavy lifting should only take an hour or so. Make sure you come and help out, we will dine on pizza and maybe a cleansing ale. If you’re a track surfacing virgin, make sure you’re there to see the best Track Crew in the Country (us) do their thing! It really isn’t that hard.

Resurfacing of straights 1 and 2 will happen next Wednesday night Nov 2nd – stay tuned for details.
