G’day Track Crew and for 2 weeks in a row – Happy Tuesday!
Things are hotting up at Knox BMX over the next few weeks, hopefully the bloody weather hots up too!
Thanks to Warren, Bogs and Matty for a hand on Saturday morning with some mowing.I must admit we weren’t overly productive due to a shortage of machinery. The clubs mowers are undergoing long overdue repairs ( thanks again Troy) and our wipper snippers have vanished ( investigations underway). We hope to have this solved soon but in the meantime the grass is mowing faster then we can bloody mow it! I need a huge effort from the Track Crew over the next fortnight or so to help with the mowing.
I will be at the track on WEDNESDAY ARVO 4pm-6ish to have a mow. If any of you have time and can bring along a push mower to use that would be much appreciated.If you can’t make it until later – that’s cool, we can use a second shift! Wipper snipper pilots are welcome too….Due to the huge rain we have had Ride On mowers are useless ( maybe next week!)
On SATURDAY MORNING before we head ff to Shepp we will be at the track to continue mowing from 9am-11am. I will be there form about 7 am to clean up the cage…I need a volunteer to help me with this as I need to do a trip to the tip – please call me if you can help 0412334408. Please note that all work on Saturday will be finished by 11am so we can all get to Shepp before practice.
The mud and crap left by the electrical contractors is still an issue. I understand that the club has contacted the council and given them a rocket. Thanks to Trav and Caroline for a great job last Thursday. The place is now more user friendly thanks to your efforts.
Don’t forget our major Working Bee Oct 23. Plenty of Green Thumb work to be done – and our annual photo ( ideas please!).
